Keeny Fox is James Bond
This latest video of mine spoofs the James Bond opening gunbarrel sequence ^^. Some of the movements are a little jerky but I don't think it's bad for a couple of days' work! Enjoy!

Confuzzled Report 2011
In spite of whatever crap has been going through my head in recent weeks, I enjoyed my time at Confuzzled and hanging around with my friends there was helpful for me ^^.
The earnings I made from the Dealer's Den and Art Show helped cover some of my expenses and I also enjoyed the Wikifur Pub Quiz where my team finished in a very close second place this year! The fursuit parade was also quite amusing, especially when they went along the street and the reactions from the people in cars passing by!
That said, the Pawpet Show was a little anti-climatic - not sure why but the story just wasn't as polished as last year's - but it was still fun nonetheless :) I also played a little bass on the open mic night and considering it was my first musical public performance in nearly two years I really can't complain about how it went.
Thank you everybody and I hope we'll meet up again next time!

Carlisle United
To commemorate Carlisle United (my favourite English football league side) winning the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for the a couple of days ago, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to draw the club's mascot, Olga The Fox. Interestingly enough, most sources state Olga to be male, yet he has a girls name!

Update
Got plans for art CDs for this year's Confuzzled! I just have to decide how I'm going to put them together.

Bigger Fish To Fly
Here is my new animated short 'Bigger Fish To Fly'. I've worked a lot of weeks on this thing and I figure that parts of it will be ideal for a future showreel :)

Animation screenshots
I am progressing nicely with my latest animated short, tentatively titled 'Bigger Fish To Fly'. It will probably stay as the title, but I typically don't like to give anything away till it is finished. Currently I have now animated over 1 minute and 50 seconds; that said, I am now pretty much half way through the animating process now so I'm hoping to get it finished by the end of March or beginning of April, providing I maintain this progress I'm making just now.
For now, here are several preview images of what you can expect, without me giving much away ^^.

Latest backgrounds
Here are several backgrounds that I am working on for my next planned animation. Not worked on it in over a month, so it is good to get back and doing it again!
This background below I have just completed... I might do a 'dusk' version at some point.
And these two backgrounds below were finished last month.
Still aiming to finish the animation sometime this Spring, but that is not something I can promise.

KFox music video
Here is my latest track, I even made it into a music video using some of my footage from Los Angeles! I've not made many music vids before, but I've tried to make this one more interesting than the last.

New webcomic goes online!
My new webcomic 'Transmission' has gone online as of tonight. It features twin red squirrel gearheads Russ and Reg move away from their failing business in England and to a garage they inherited in California. Right now I plan on a one-a-week update schedule (because making each strip takes at least a couple of days depending on the complexity of it), but it is planned to be every Friday thus far. Frankly, of all the strips I've written up for it thus far, it is already looking a lot better than my previous webcomic 'Willow And Timothy'. But time will tell I guess.

Los Angeles Part 1
Still without my email able to send messages (but can still receive), I'm now in LA ^^. The weather is like Summer in the United Kingdom =P Here's some of what I've been up to thus far.

San Francisco Part 2
More pictures ;) I've now visited Alcatraz Island, a somewhat eerie place with some gorgeous views.

San Francisco Part 1
I'm currently in San Francisco, California. I must say the architecture of this amazing city is very impressive in parts. Here's some pics I've taken so far; click on the pictures to enlarge them.

The very "best" of Stu & The Frets?
Back in the days when I was doing Advanced Higher in school I was the bass player in my high school band Stu & The Frets. The four-piece group (later three) formed some time in 2003, but didn't really take off until 2005 - in the Spring we recorded an EP and experienced a line-up change. The Summer was our finest hour as we played a string of successful gigs in our local area before musical differences led to our subsequent split in the Autumn. I was inspired to spoof ourselves in this mock-greatest hits CD cover sleeve design! Not bad for a quickie!
In the years that have followed we've all done our own respective projects; the group's quirky and charismatic frontman Stuart Strachan went on to form The GetDowns (effectively a continuation of The Frets), one of Dundee's most infamous local bands of the late 2000s, while latter-day drummer Jonny Reid ultimately carried on in another group I was linked with called Sugarhouse Wynd. Meanwhile I am best known for my solo electronica work under the pseudonym KFox, though in I did pick the bass up again with The Affiliates for a couple of years towards the end of the noughties.
I miss performing with the guys, but frankly I think since we all went our seperate ways, we have made far better music than ever before. Except perhaps Stuart himself, but that is entirely up for debate!

Spitfire
Happy new year :) I've been spending today doing a new piece of art; there is a version with a character added posing in front of it too, but I also think this standalone shot of the Supermarine Spitfire on it's own has come out nicely as well :) The photo used for the background is one I took myself several years ago.
